Executive Session

May 17, 2004

The Cloverdale Town Council met in executive session on May 17, 2004 at the Cloverdale Town hall.  Council President John Davis called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Roll call was taken.  Members present were:  John Davis, Judy Whitaker and Dennis Padgett.  Jim McCullough and Brice Jones were absent.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possible appointment of utility manager. Dave Stremming, current Wastewater treatment plant foreman, was asked by the Council to fill in as interim utility manager until the Council could find a replacement for Bill Gruener.  He was offered the position effective immediately at the current wages of $33,390 and it was agreed to keep Thom Terry on assisting in his current capacity at the Wastewater treatment plant.  Mr. Stremming agreed to those terms and the matter will be brought before the Board in special session at 7:30 p.m. on May 17.

No other business being heard, the meeting was adjourned.
