Our last meeting took place on Monday, March 18th at the Cloverdale Community Building .The ladies of the Millgrove Methodist Church prepared a great meal. President Todd Lewis called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Please remember the April 22nd meeting and all future meetings will be held at the Millgrove Methodist Church.

• Old business

• Dues- 2002 dues can now be paid. Dues have increased this year to $35.00 for the year or 17.50 for half.

• FunFest- The Chamber of Commerce has voted to continue with the FunFest. Details will follow.

• Civic award- The Club was presented with a list of nominees for the Civic award. The club voted and selected our new civic award winner. Details will follow. The award will be presented at the appreciation dinner in October.

• New meeting location- The club voted to hold our meetings at the Millgrove Methodist Church.

• WP Woods Nominations- Nominations for the WP Woods honoree were taken through March 15th. The nomination committee will meet and bring a ballot to the club at a future meeting.

• Club elections-The club will be presented a ballot of officers to vote on at the April meeting.

New Business

• Attendance- 40.00 % of our members attended the March meeting.

• Relay for life-The Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society will take place noon May 4th to noon May 5th . To donate see Todd Lewis at the bank.

• Handshake winner- Bill Terrell was the February handshake winner.

• Glasses- The club has gathered over 500 pairs of glasses for recycling.

    500 fund raiser signups.
    May 500 booth organization.

• Indy 500 Fundraiser- We have received our paper work from the folks at the Speedway. We will be responsible for manning our booth at the track on Saturday May 11th, Sunday May 19th, and Race Day, May 26th. The Van Bibber Lions Club has agreed to help us again this year. Training for workers at the track will take place Saturday April 20th. Call Mike Buis for details.
