Our last meeting took place on Monday, April 22nd at the Millgrove Methodist church .The ladies of the Millgrove Methodist Church prepared a great meal. President Todd Lewis called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Please remember the May 20th meeting and all future meetings will be held at the Millgrove Methodist Church.
Old business
Dues- 2002 dues can now be paid. Dues have increased this year to $35.00 for the year or 17.50 for half.
Civic award- The Club voted for Mr. Bill Henson to be our civic award winner. The award will be presented at the appreciation dinner in October.
New meeting location- The club voted to hold our meetings at the Millgrove Methodist Church.
WP Woods Nominations- Nominations for the WP Woods honoree are complete. The club will be presented a ballot to vote on, at the May meeting.
Club elections-The club will be presented a ballot of officers to vote on, at the May meeting.
Indy Fundraiser- Todd Lewis and two members of the VanBibber club attended training on Saturday April 20th for our stand at the 500. Changes include- Extra money can be raised by keeping credits low. We will not have access to Brickyard Bucks, but each worker will be presented a voucher for a free sandwich. Inventory must be taken each day. The management will provide a projection of each days sells. Help is still needed for the two remaining workdays. Sunday 5-19 (bump day) and Sunday 5-26 (race day). Attendance- 41.70 % of our members attended the March meeting.
Handshake winner- Larry Pickens was the April handshake winner.

May Vote for club officers. 500 fund raiser signups.

Scholarships- The club voted to develop a plaque showing the Cloverdale Lions Club scholarship winners. Interviews of potential scholarship winners for this year were held the week of 5-6. Details of the winners will follow.
American Legion- The club voted to donate $500 to the Cloverdale American Legion to help purchase new more durable flags for downtown.
Eyeglass referrals- The club has help provide eyeglasses for 3 people so far this year. .
