Our June meeting took place on the 28th at Millgrove United Methodist Church. The meeting was called to order by President Ray Baker.

OLD BUSINESS
>DUES---We are down to six members that have not paid dues. If you are one of the six, please pay them as soon as possible.
>INDY 500—Ray reported that we had a great crew work the F1 race on 6/20. Mike Buis reported total sales of $2,200, which is very, very low. Todd
reported the final numbers for the Indy race-we did very well. Ray passed around a sign up sheet for the Brickyard 400 on August 8---PLEASE BE READY
TO SIGN UP AT THE JULY MEETING, if you haven’t already. UPDATE SINCE THE MEETING-We are only working RACE DAY!!!
>Elections-The nomination committee has met and we have some possibilities. We plan on presenting a slate at the July meeting.
>Civic Award-The Civic Award committee has met and everything is on schedule to receive ballots until July 1. Todd reported a good response already, and he
handed out nomination forms at the meeting. We will choose the winner at the July meeting.
>Meeting Place-President Ray investigated meeting at the school again. The school was receptive to our meeting dates and price. We will meet at the park in
July, Johnson’s in August, the Middle School in September, Hilltop in October, and back to Millgrove in November to decide a permanent meeting place!
NEW BUSINESS
>Indiana Leadership Seminar-President Ray presented a letter from Michael White, a Cloverdale student, who is attending leadership training. Michael sent
a nice letter for his request, and received a $75 donation. Ray let us know that Michael pitched in and helped us on a last minute plea for help at the Indy 500 booth.
>Student Council Car Show-President Ray received a request from the Cloverdale Student Council to sponsor a trophy for their car show that is to be held
on Sunday, August 1, at 9AM at the school parking lot. The club chose to sponsor the trophy for $30. Please plan on attending and supporting our Student
Council!
>5 MEMBER PIN-President Ray presented Dave Johnson with a 5 member pin. Congratulations Dave!
>Entertainment-President Ray introduced Lion Ed Truax and his guest speaker, Pat Rady. Mr. Rady is the new boys basketball coach for Cloverdale High
School. Mr. Rady has a lot of ties with the Cloverdale area and a very enjoyable discussion was had by all. He began his coaching career at Bainbridge, and
he is looking forward to retiring at a small Putnam County school in a few years.
