Our May meeting took place on the 22nd at the Cloverdale Middle School.  The meeting was called to order by President Ray Baker.

>TRACK INFO-Pole Day was a washout—sold $65 worth of stuff!  We hope for better Race Day on the 28^th!  Mike and Ray thanked all those that helped on Pole Day(still had to be there at 5AM!).  Mike has a great crew lined up for race day. 

 

>Elections-Our officers will stay the same for this year.  We still need to recruit a 2^nd VP to start the President rotation next year.  THANKS to all the officers for doing a great job and hanging in there! 

 

>Scholarship Committee-The committee of Charlie Simon, Norv Gottula and Dick Gaddis met to select this year’s winners.  A special thank you to these guys!   Charlie attended the interviews which lasted a full day and reported back to the club about his positive experience.  Norv and Dick mentioned how impressive the applications were and how nice it was for them to see all the positive things these kids do.  This years winners were:

>Prevent Blindness-We have referred one more student to them for glasses and exam.
