Our August meeting took place on the 27th at Dave Johnson’s home.  The meeting was called to order by President Ray Baker. Dave

 and Joyce provided a wonderful cookout dinner!

>Dues-Dues are all now paid through the end of the year.  THANKS! 

 

>Track Food Booth- President Ray presented the club with a check for $1,473.83 for our work at the Brickyard 400.  Mike Buis

thanked everyone that worked, especially Charlie Simon, who rounded up a bunch of the workers.

 

>Civic Award- Todd Lewis, Larry Haltom and Charlie Simon presented the ballot to the club with two nominees.  The club voted

on the winner and the votes were counted after the meeting.

 

>Cloverdale Football League-President Ray presented the club with a plaque from the league for our sponsorship.

 

>Appreciation Dinner- Todd verified the Hilltop is available for our October meeting.  He has a list of folks that have helped us this

year and passed it out.  Norv will see if the Ethanol Plant manager would like to speak at our meeting.  Members began the sign up process.

 

>Entertainment-Vice District Governor Charlie Short spoke to the club about the state and international organization.  He did a wonderful

job and reminded us all what a great organization we are a part of.
