Our July 2008 meeting took place on the 21st at the park in Cloverdale. The meeting was called to order by President Larry Haltom.

>GUESTS- Charlie Simon introduced Rod Garrett to the group as a potential new member.
>Dues-We are down to 3 members that need to pay for 2008. The dues are $52 per year again this year. The club has already
paid the dues to the state and international organizations.
>Track Update- We will be working Brickyard Race Day(7/27), and MotoGP on 9/12, 9/13 and 9/14. We will need all the help we can get.
The Civic League will provide some help each day for the MotoGP and we will split the funds with them on a prorated basis(based on the total
number of workers).
>Park- The club has already paid a $750 donation to the Civic League, and they have agreed to let us put up a sign by the soccer field. It was
mentioned also that we were very well represented by volunteers!
>WP Woods- The nominating committee, that is made up of Larry Haltom, Mike Buis and Todd Lewis, met to look over the Nomination forms.
>Civic Award- It is time to start to work on this year’s award. Norv Gottula volunteered for the committee, so now it includes Charlie Simon,
Larry Haltom, Todd Lewis and Norv Gottula.
>Appreciation Dinner- Todd Lewis mentioned that he can reserve the Hilltop again this year, but wanted to check with the club since there was
some questions last year, and the club felt like the charge was obsessive. Mike Buis and Larry Haltom volunteered to check with the Legion to see
if we could meet there in October.
>Scholarship- Todd Lewis read a Thank You note from James Fidler.
>Photoscreening- Ray Baker went to training on the new digital system, which sounds like a huge improvement. Thanks RAY!
>Entertainment- NONE
